You know what really tees me off...guys who have decided to "make it interesting," and as a result, stand over each shot like there's a green jacket in the clubhouse with one of their names on it! Christ, putt the ball already! These jokers are out there every weekend. I don't care if they're all 20+ or scratch golfers, some people just take their bets too damn seriously. From 100 yards out you stand there and watch them consult over the speed of the green, the break, grain direction, the sun's position and the rotation of the earth....all for a 2 footer! And they don't care one bit that the course is backed up because "something's riding on it".
If winning this golf bet is that important you really can't afford to play golf! Perhaps you should consider taking your foursome into the clubhouse for a game of hearts?
You can all wear green jackets, too!
